What does HIANZ do?
HIANZ promotes an awareness of health information issues through our newsletter and other publications, seminars and conferences and lobbying at appropriate levels.
We develop and promote standards and codes of practice for health information professionals, and the publishing of them.
HIANZ supports and assists the development of Health Information professionals by offering an active continuing education, regular conferences, seminars, and scholarships. Members also receive a bimonthly newsletter.
We also network with affiliated groups (e.g. the International Federation of Health Records Organisation), government agencies and the providers of information resources.
